The exceptionally popular medical drama television series, Grey’s Anatomy, created by Shona Rhimes is currently in it’s 12th. The show features the fictional lives of surgical interns and residences at the Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital (formerly Seattle Grace Hospital, Season 1–6, Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital, Season 6–9, and then Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital, Season 9–present). The show is set in Seattle, Washington and primary follows the story of the main character Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo). The Series has won 2 Golden Globes and many another with many other awards and nominations. 

 

 

 

Shona Rhimes (pictured left) born in 1970 and is a mother to 3 daughters. She is a television writer, television producer and screenwriter. Rhimes was name one of Time magazine’s 100 People Who Help Shape the World. She is best know for the series Grey’s Anatomy, the spin-off show Private Practice, and the political thriller Scandal. Rhimes was also the executive producer for the shows, Off the Map and How to Get Away with Murder.
